HOW IT WORKS

TESberg batteries convert electricity to thermal energy (for both heating and cooling) through harnessing latent heat of fusion - the storage of energy during phase change process.

  • – A sustainable PCM solution for heating processes, encapsulated in sealed containers.
  • – Absorbs heat, which may be from refrigeration condenser to solar heating, stores it, and released as needed for any heating application via the integrated heat transfer system.
  • – Encapsulated naturally occurring minerals to build solid heat blocks. For string thermal energy that can be used in any heating applications eg, hot water for washdown, central heating, hot water. hHW.
  • – Provide energy bank for heat pumps to utilise the energy savings available
  • – The TESberg application uses ICE TECHNOLOGY – a water-based energy storage cell for cooling processes.

 

  • – We use encapsulated ice process to build ice within thousands of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) capsules. The system’s highly effective heat transfer method of design ensure 4 hr. duration (high discharge power rate) for as much as 85% of the total energy charged in a single cell.
